rewiring your mindset for self worth
Constant thoughts of negativity and self doubt float through my mind sometimes. It can be hard to silence those thoughts because it’s so wired in my brain.
To get unstuck from feelings of low self esteem and negative rumination, you need to rewire your mindset for self worth.
Self worth is crucial for embracing yourself and giving a mental reminder of just how amazing you truly are. So it’s important to raise your self worth as a whole.
Easier said than done though, right?
Small steps toward self acceptance
It takes time and practice to be at a place where you want to be when it comes to self worth.
You can take small steps, such as working on self acceptance by appreciating the little things that you don’t like about yourself.
You can rewire your brain to think of things you once saw as negative or embarrassing and turn them into something you view as unique and special.
You also have to work on self acceptance by appreciating the little things that you don’t like about yourself.
For example, sometimes I think the beauty marks on my hands and arms are so weird and out of place. But I’ve learned to look at them as special marks that make me who I am and add to my beauty.

Challenge negative thoughts
You also have to let the negative thoughts go. You have to be open to making mistakes.
You have to take deep breaths and center your being to remind yourself to release the negative energy and harsh thoughts.
Call out every time you speak or think negatively about yourself. Write it down if you have to.
Listing or making a mental note of the times you put yourself down will put in reality how often you do it.
Hopefully by calling it out you’re more easily able to change the thought in the moment. It’s all about switching up that mindset to increase your self worth!
Be kind to yourself
When you’re going through mindset shifts, it’s important to be kind to yourself.
There’s constant negativity and judgement and always something to criticize and dislike in this world.
Be the one that has your best interest in heart and who has the nicest thing to say about yourself.
Don’t be harsh in this process or get discouraged by how often you notice moments of low self esteem or self worth.
I always say it’s a process, and it’s not linear. So remember to give yourself grace.
Use affirmations for self worth for a daily reminder
Remind yourself of your worth and what you deserve.
If you’ve gotten to a place where you can challenge your negative thoughts, shown yourself kindness and practiced self acceptance, I think it’s time to take it a step further by including affirmations in your daily routine.
Talk positively to yourself and repeat affirmations when you feel doubtful or just need a boost.
Self worth affirmations:
I embrace every part of who I am.
I nurture a positive dialogue within myself.
I am allowed to grow, evolve and change without explanation.
I trust that my presence makes a positive impact.
I am more powerful than any doubt that crosses my mind.
I carry myself with dignity and self assurance.
I hold myself in high regard and expect the same from others.
I trust the decisions I make for myself.
I choose to replace self criticism with self compassion.
I let go of negative self talk.
